Pmnm Green Turtle And Monk Seal 26640823494

This presentation includes a quick introduction to JIMAR / NOAA's Protected Species Assessment and Recovery Camps in the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument, followed by an informal Q&A session hosted by real live field researchers. Join the team for a talk story session about our remote field camps where each year, we deploy field researchers to 5 field sites to monitor and study Hawaiian monk seals and green sea turtles. Get answers to all your burning field camp questions, such as what is like living in a tent for 4 months with only one other teammate on the island? What is a normal day conducting field work like? How do you do dishes and laundry? What really is a longdrop? And, this sounds amazing - how do I apply?!
